Marble countertop maintenance priorities
Marble is suitable for premium kitchens, bathrooms, vanity tops and feature surfaces, but it needs correct daily maintenance. Use a neutral cleaner, soft cloth and clean water instead of acidic or abrasive products.
Daily cleaning
Wipe spills quickly, especially coffee, wine, oil, lemon juice and colored sauces. Avoid leaving standing water around seams, edges and sink cut-outs.
Sealing and protection
For busy kitchens, check the sealer regularly and reseal when water no longer beads on the surface. Use cutting boards, trivets and pads under metal appliances to reduce scratches and heat marks.
